October 1, 2026v2.9.9Patch

TradeRitual on your phone

The whole journal is rebuilt for phones: bottom tabs, sheets that slide up, and screens made for one thumb.

Navigation that fits your thumb

A tab bar along the bottom takes you to your journal, analytics and daily ritual in one tap, with everything else one swipe away under More. Tap the tab you're on to jump back to the top.

Sheets instead of pop-ups

Adding a trade, filtering, choosing dates and every other dialog now slides up from the bottom with its buttons in reach, and pulls down to close.

Journal and analytics, sized for a phone

Trades read as a clean list, a trade's details scroll as one page, and charts and numbers fit the screen without sideways scrolling.

  • ImprovedTyping in a field no longer zooms the page on iPhone.
  • ImprovedSettings open as a list you tap into, like a phone's own settings.
  • FixedRepeated identical notifications now show once.
  • FixedAnalytics period labels read "all time" where they used to say "yet to date".
September 29, 2026v2.9.8Patch

Smoother sign-in links

Asking for a sign-in link twice no longer trips you up, and resend waits exactly as long as it needs to.

  • ImprovedRequesting a link again right away takes you to your inbox instead of an error.
  • ImprovedThe resend countdown shows the real time left, not a fixed minute.
  • FixedA sign-in email that genuinely fails to send now says so instead of asking you to wait.
September 29, 2026v2.9.7Patch

Growth trial, better timed

The Growth trial offer now arrives when you log your own first trade, and choosing later actually means later.

  • FixedThe trial offer no longer appears right after loading the demo account.
  • FixedThe getting-started checklist no longer counts demo trades as your first trade.
  • ImprovedChoosing "Maybe later" brings the offer back once, after your journal has grown or a week has passed.
September 29, 2026v2.9.6Patch

Reliable sign-in emails

Sign-in links are watched around the clock, and a problem sending them is caught and fixed before you run into it.

  • FixedSign-in and sign-up links could fail to send.
  • ImprovedClearer messages when an email address is mistyped or a link can't be sent.
  • ImprovedThe sidebar no longer shows two placeholder items you couldn't open.
September 20, 2026v2.9.5Patch

Complete account deletion

Closing an account now clears your data everywhere we hold it, and asking never to be emailed again outlasts the account itself.

Deletion reaches everything

Closing your account now removes your trades, uploaded files and notes, disconnects your broker at the provider that holds the connection, and cancels any active subscription — not only the profile we store. Accounts left half-formed by an interrupted signup were skipped by parts of this and are now handled explicitly.

Unsubscribing sticks

A do-not-contact request is now kept separately from your account and honoured whatever happens to it. It used to live on the account itself, so deleting the account threw away the record of the request — and a later mailing could reach someone who had asked to be left alone.

  • FixedA changed or late-confirmed email address now stays in sync across your account.
September 19, 2026v2.9.4Patch

Only the times you set

A trade no longer records an exit time you never entered, and a misconfigured build can no longer take the app offline.

Your exit time is yours

The form fills both entry and exit time with the current clock, and kept the two in step until you edited the exit. That made a trade you entered at 09:30 and closed at 15:45 record both as 09:30 — a trade that appears to have lasted no time at all. Now only an exit time you actually set is saved; leave it alone and it stays empty rather than inventing one. Entry time still fills in for you, since logging a trade as you take it is the common case.

  • FixedA build missing its settings can no longer point the app at the wrong server.
September 19, 2026v2.9.3Patch

Times and totals

Your trades now record the time of day you took them, and an option that expires worthless counts as the loss it is.

Trades remember when you took them

Entry and exit times were never saved, so Time Performance and the day-by-hour breakdown had nothing to show and sat empty. Both now record the wall-clock time of the trade, in your own session rather than UTC, and those views fill in as you log trades.

A worthless option is a loss, not an open position

An option that expired worthless exits at zero, and a zero exit was read as “no exit yet”. The trade was listed as still open and left out of the day's total, so the day looked better than it was — and the bigger the loss, the more of it went missing. A trade that has been closed now counts as closed, whatever it closed at.

  • FixedEquity curve includes trades that closed at zero.
  • FixedDaily win rate and totals count every closed trade.

Heads up — Times are recorded from here on. Trades you logged before this update have no time stored and will still be absent from the time-of-day views.

September 18, 2026v2.9.2Patch

Findable pages

Housekeeping so search engines and AI assistants read the site correctly: one address per page, and pages that no longer exist say so.

  • FixedEvery page has one web address, instead of the same page answering on several.
  • FixedA mistyped or removed address returns a proper “not found”, rather than a blank page.
  • ImprovedThe community page is listed in the site map, so search engines can find it.
September 12, 2026v2.9.0Feature

Forex numbers you can trust

Forex prices keep all five decimals, imported MetaTrader trades keep the profit your broker reported, and your trading day can follow your own session instead of UTC.

Prices keep their decimals

Prices were stored to two decimal places, so a EUR/USD entry of 1.08523 was saved as 1.09 and every figure derived from it was wrong. Prices now hold six decimals, quantities and contract sizes four, so fractional lots and a 0.5 multiplier survive. Forex shows five decimals, JPY pairs three, crypto up to eight.

Your imported forex P&L survives an edit

An imported MetaTrader trade recorded the profit from your statement, but not the lot size behind it. The moment you opened that trade and saved it, the figure was recalculated without the lot size and collapsed: a 0.5-lot EUR/USD win of $125 became $0.00125. Imports now carry the lot size, so editing a trade leaves the profit where it was. Broker symbol suffixes like EURUSD.pro, GBPJPYm and XAUUSD are read as forex instead of being filed as stocks.

A trading day that matches your session

Days were cut at UTC midnight, so an evening New York trade landed on tomorrow and every Asia-session trade sat on the wrong day. Pick your timezone in Settings and the daily, weekday and hour breakdowns follow your session. Leave it unset and nothing changes.

  • FixedForex and crypto prices keep their full precision instead of rounding to two decimals.
  • FixedImported MetaTrader forex and metals trades keep their profit after an edit.
  • ImprovedBroker-specific symbol suffixes are read as the currency pair they are.
  • NewChoose the timezone your trading day is cut at, in Settings.
  • ImprovedSaving a trade with an unusable number now says which field, instead of failing without explanation.
  • NewAn About page setting out what the app does, what it costs, and what it imports.
  • ImprovedConnecting a broker on Starter explains the feature and offers a trial or a file import, instead of jumping to billing.
  • FixedFeature counts, pricing and capability claims across the site match the app.
  • FixedRating a trade, or adding a note or screenshot, no longer rewrites its quantity, fees and P&L on your other devices.
  • FixedTrades you add offline now reach the cloud when you reconnect, including ones that were already stuck.
  • FixedAn open trade stays open on your other devices, instead of arriving as a closed trade exited at $0.
  • FixedEditing a trade keeps the day it belongs to, instead of moving it across midnight.
  • FixedTurning a setup into a trade gives you one open trade, not a second closed one at $0.
  • ImprovedSetups record an asset type, so a forex setup becomes a forex trade priced as forex.
  • ImprovedStarter includes 10 AI messages a day — the number the pricing page has always shown.
  • NewSend feedback and Report a problem, from the menu under your name.

Heads up — Trades saved before this release were stored with two-decimal prices, and those figures cannot be recovered. If a forex trade's numbers look wrong, re-enter its entry and exit prices.

September 12, 2026v2.8.2Patch

Reliable plan activation

A completed payment now activates your plan every time, and access ends when a subscription does.

  • FixedPaid plans activate even when the confirmation from Stripe arrives late or out of order.
  • FixedAccess drops to Starter when a subscription is canceled or lapses, instead of staying on the paid tier.
  • FixedCheckout reaches Stripe with the right plan on every tier.
September 1, 2026v2.8.1Patch

AI Insights restored

AI Insights is answering again — and when something does go wrong, it now says so instead of thinking forever.

Back online, on a sharper model

The model AI Insights ran on was retired by its provider, which left the assistant stuck on a blinking cursor. It's back — and the new model reads your history more closely, connecting a revenge trade to the loss that set it off rather than just restating your win rate.

  • FixedReplies no longer hang on a typing indicator that never resolves.
  • FixedProblems surface as a clear message you can act on, and retry.
  • ImprovedLonger answers run to the end instead of stopping mid-sentence.
July 20, 2026v2.8.0Feature

AI scope picker

Point the AI at exactly the trades you want analyzed — a date range, winners or losers, a strategy, a symbol.

Choose what the AI sees

A scope bar above the chat input reads as a sentence — pick a time range, winners/losers/open positions, specific strategies or symbols, and the AI analyzes exactly that slice of your history, with your all-time stats kept alongside for comparison.

Your data, on your terms

Toggle which data sections are shared per conversation, see the live trade count before you send, and the consent dialog always states exactly what's in scope.

  • NewArrow keys recall your previous chat messages, terminal-style.
  • ImprovedTrade data sent to the AI is size-capped and hardened against prompt injection.
July 19, 2026v2.7.8Patch

Faster repeat visits

Pages you've seen before load quicker, and the last stale-update crashes are gone.

  • ImprovedRepeat visits load faster — the app reuses what it already downloaded.
  • FixedThe last blank-screen crashes after a new version shipped.
July 19, 2026v2.7.7Patch

A steadier dashboard

Squashed another white-screen crash and a fussy add-trade form.

  • FixedA white-screen crash some users hit while using the dashboard.
  • FixedClicking a field in the add-trade form now registers on the first try.
July 18, 2026v2.7.6Patch

Fewer blank screens

Squashed the rare crashes that could blank the page.

  • FixedPages no longer blank out after a new version ships — they reload cleanly.
  • FixedRare blank-screen crashes triggered by in-browser page translation.
July 17, 2026v2.7.5Patch

A smoother first trade

Getting from the demo to your own first trade is now one click.

  • ImprovedThe demo takes you straight to the trade form in your account.
  • NewA heads-up email if a subscription payment fails.
July 15, 2026v2.7.4Patch

Trial improvements

A few improvements to the 14-day Growth trial.

  • ImprovedA quieter trial countdown.
  • NewThe Growth trial is now offered to existing users, not just at your first trade.
July 13, 2026v2.7.3Patch

14-day Growth trial

Log your first trade and TradeRitual offers you the full product free for 14 days — one click, no card. Plus a ground-up redesign of every email we send, and a smoother login.

A trial that arrives when it's useful

The moment your first real trade lands, we offer 14 days of Growth — all 37 analytics cards, daily broker auto-sync, the full AI allowance. One click starts it, “maybe later” never asks again, and Starter stays free forever either way.

You always know where your trial stands

A quiet countdown shows in your dashboard from day one, a heads-up email arrives two days before the end with exactly what changes and what stays free, and if it lapses, nothing is deleted — your analytics pick up right where they left off if you return.

Emails worth opening

Every email we send was redesigned — cleaner layout, exact dates instead of vague urgency, and what-you-keep versus what-changes at a glance. Plans read as a ladder you climb when the app pays for itself, never a lock.

  • New14-day Growth trial offered at your first trade — one click, no card.
  • NewTrial countdown in the dashboard from day one, not just the final days.
  • NewHeads-up email two days before a trial ends, and an honest wrap-up after.
  • ImprovedAll emails redesigned — exact dates, benefits at a glance, founder sign-off.
  • FixedEditing the middle of your email at login no longer jumps the cursor to the end.
  • New“Wrong email? Try another” on the check-your-email screen — no cooldown wait.
July 12, 2026v2.7.2Patch

A personal welcome

New signups now get a note from the founder — in their inbox and inside the app — plus sharper account limits and groundwork so we can fix what trips people up faster.

A welcome that's actually from a person

Sign up and you get a short note from the founder with one useful next step: bring your trades in. Reply lands in his inbox — and he answers.

A direct line while you set up

The setup guide now carries a founder note with a Message me link. Stuck on anything during your first session, a human is one click away.

  • NewWelcome email on signup, with a direct reply-to-the-founder line.
  • NewFounder note + Message me link in the setup guide.
  • FixedAccounts page no longer counts the Demo Account against your plan limit.
  • ImprovedImport, upgrade, and demo flows now tell us where they fail, so fixes land faster.
July 11, 2026v2.7.1Patch

Help Center

A redesigned Help Center — search-friendly FAQs and guides in one clean hub, plus a dedicated Contact page with live chat, email, and Discord.

A Help Center that matches the rest of the site

FAQs and guides now live in a clean, dark hub — no more sidebar. Popular questions expand right on the Help page, with a link through to the full FAQ list.

One clear place to reach us

A dedicated Contact page brings live chat, a message form, and Discord together. We read every message and reply personally.

  • NewRedesigned Help Center — FAQs and guides in one hub, no sidebar.
  • NewDedicated Contact page — live chat, message form, and Discord.
  • FixedSeveral outdated FAQ answers — cloud backup now works on every plan, including Starter.
July 11, 2026v2.7.0Feature

Community & live chat

A single home for feature requests, the roadmap, and updates — plus a chat button to reach the team from anywhere.

One home for the community

A new Community page brings feature requests, the roadmap, the changelog, and our Discord together in one place — vote on what's next, follow what's being built, and see what's shipped.

Talk to us

A chat button now sits on every public page. Ask a question anytime — if we're heads-down building, we'll follow up by email, usually within a day.

  • NewCommunity page — feature requests, roadmap, changelog, and Discord in one place.
  • NewLive chat to reach the team from any public page.
  • ImprovedA Community menu in the top navigation and one consistent footer across the site.
  • FixedThe feature-request board no longer hides requests past the first 50.
  • FixedA removed or mistyped feature-request link now shows a clean “not found” instead of an error.
July 10, 2026v2.6.3Patch

Faster logging

Logging a trade is now a few fields and a click — extras tuck into an optional fold, you can save and add another without reopening, and every trade you add or import glows in the journal so you can see it landed.

Log a trade in seconds

The add-trade form leads with just the essentials — symbol, side, prices, quantity, date — with strategy, tags, confidence and notes folded away under “Add details” until you want them. “Save & add another” keeps the panel open and your context, so a run of trades goes in without reopening. Errors now show on the field itself instead of a toast.

See what landed

After an import you're taken straight to your journal — the newly imported trades glow briefly so you can spot them at a glance, with a notice above the table in case they sort onto later pages. Manual trades you add or edit glow the same way. Duplicates are skipped and named, so nothing disappears silently.

Unblocked, whatever the file

Unknown symbols no longer mean clicking through a dialog per symbol — keep them all as-is in one click. If a file looks like a broker export but nothing parses, you land in the column mapper instead of a dead end, with matching columns pre-filled from your headers.

  • ImprovedSelect multiple entries in the journal to delete them in one action.
  • ImprovedSkipped import rows are listed with the row number and reason.
  • ImprovedOn multi-currency accounts, every chart reads in your account's base currency.
  • ImprovedDrawdown is shown as a percentage of your account balance.
  • ImprovedAmounts are validated as you enter a trade.
  • FixedGeneric CSVs are no longer mistaken for broker exports.
July 9, 2026v2.6.2Patch

Layered dialogs

Escape now steps back one layer at a time — image viewer, then dialog, then panel — everywhere dialogs stack.

  • FixedEscape in a stacked viewer closes just that layer instead of everything at once.
July 9, 2026v2.6.1Patch

Journal filters

Search and filter your journal from one always-visible toolbar, notifications stack readably out of your way, and dialogs behave the same everywhere.

Filter the journal

A persistent toolbar on every journal tab: search across everything — symbols, strategies, tags, notes, prices, P&L, even dates — and narrow by status, result, side, symbol, strategy, or tags from a compact two-step menu. Active filters show as removable pills, follow you across tabs, and are remembered next time you open the app.

Notifications that stay readable

Toasts now appear at the bottom-right on solid surfaces instead of translucent banners over your data. Several at once stack as a visible list — none can hide another — and each can be dismissed. Errors stay up longer than confirmations.

Dialogs that behave

Every dialog and confirmation now runs on one engine: it opens centered, animates from the middle of the screen, and keeps keyboard focus inside until you're done.

  • ImprovedThe header shows which account you're viewing, with a Demo badge for sample data.
  • ImprovedOne type scale, corner radius, and dialog style across the app.
  • ImprovedDropdowns and prompts match the app — no more browser-styled controls.
  • FixedChanging currency on an account with trades works again, with a per-trade preview.
  • FixedEvery menu item opens a working screen.
July 8, 2026v2.6.0Feature

Feature request board

Vote on what we build next, follow a request through to shipped, and see the whole roadmap in the open.

Post and vote on ideas

A public board for feature requests: write yours with a rich-text editor and a screenshot, and vote for the ones you want most. As you type a new request, the board surfaces similar existing ones so you can add your vote instead of splitting it.

The roadmap, in the open

Every request moves through the same public stages — under review, planned, in progress, shipped — so you can see what we're working on and what's next. The roadmap and changelog now sit alongside the board as one story: asked, building, shipped.

Follow a request

Subscribe to any request to get an email when its status changes or the team posts an official response. Tell us how much it matters to you, and join the discussion with threaded comments and likes.

  • NewPublic feature request board — post an idea and vote on others.

July 6, 2026v2.5.9Patch

Setup guide

A step-by-step guide takes new accounts from empty to first insights.

Setup guide

Four steps from a fresh account to a working journal: bring trades in, explore your analytics, try AI, start your daily ritual. The guide tucks into a small progress card while you work and disappears once you're set up.

A changelog worth reading

This page, redesigned: dated releases on a clean timeline, featured changes with real product imagery you can click to zoom, and release notes rewritten to lead with what matters.

  • ImprovedNew accounts open on the Trade Journal, so there's something to do from the first click.
  • ImprovedOne color system across the app — your accent color applies everywhere, and green/red are reserved for P&L.
